During the meeting held in the presence of ambassadors of the two countries, Zarif invited the Oceanian country’s businessmen to invest in the markets of Iran.
Noting that Iran is the most stable and democratic country in the west of Asia, Zarif elaborated on the economic capacities of Iran during the meeting.
Zarif described advanced human resources, communication facilities, transportation, tourism, agriculture, advanced sciences, nanotechnology, oil, gas and petrochemical industries as some of Iran’s key capacities.
Based on the report, the ambassadors presented their views on economic and trade relations between Tehran and Wellington.
During his stay in New Zealand, the fifth leg of his Asia-Pacific tour, Zarif held talks with the country’s prime minister, foreign minister and a number of other ministers and senior officials on ways to improve relations, particularly in trade and economic sectors.
